ABSTRACT: Prose, characterized by its style, is different from other types of literature. As an important part of literature, prose plays an important role in cultural communication; thus, the analysis of prose translation is very important. This paper makes a tentative approach in the following text to analyze how to realize style equivalence through markers of style, specifically “form markers”, proposed by Professor Liu Miqing, including lexical markers, markers of figures of speech and textual markers under the guidance of Nida’s functional theory, by using Zhang Peiji’s translation of Bing Xin’s prose as examples.
