ABSTRACT: This article explains how the nation’s rise paved the way for nationalism’s development and how digital technologies significantly contributed to the global rise of nationalism. Globalization and the industrial revolution play an important role in digital development worldwide, shaping people’s ideas about adopting new technology to connect with others. People can form or mobilize a team within a group or nation through social media, websites, applications, and other technology tools. Because of digital advancement, people can now use it to share their experiences, ideas, culture, and beliefs with others everywhere. Furthermore, this paper emphasizes the power of digital transformation, which significantly contributes to the promotion of 1) Digital nationalism; 2) Digital identity; 3) National narratives.
