ABSTRACT: Objective: The aim of our work is to clarify, through these three clinical cases, the different making-decision elements when choosing the moment of treatment (one or two phases) in order to allow better management of our patients. Presentation of Clinical Cases: We present three clinical cases of young patients treated and followed up at the Orthodontic Department of the CCTD of the CHU IBN ROCHD of Casablanca for a class II division 1 malocclusion. The first and second patients were treated during early adolescence in a single phase. While the third patient was treated during mixed dentition in two phases. Conclusion: We concluded that there is no statistically significant difference between the two approaches (one or two phases). Early management of malocclusion remains important since it allows for normalization of the pattern and growth of the skeleton, and reduces the duration of subsequent treatment.
