A prescription for physical therapy and exercise in Parkinson’s disease (Short Communications)

Abstract

The rate of progression of Parkinson’s Disease (PD) varies among individuals living with the disease. How- ever, there comes a time, later in the course of the disease, when most patients with PD develop balance impair- ments and falls. Unfortunately, these symptoms do not respond well to dopaminergic medications or deep brain stimulation.
