Pair Production in Non-Perturbative QCD ()
ABSTRACT
In this
paper, a method to calculate the vacuum to vacuum transition amplitude in the
presence of a non-abelian background field is introduced. The number of
non-perturbative quark-antiquark produced per unit time, per unit volume and
per unit transverse momentum from a given constant chromo-electric field is
calculated and its application to quark-gluon plasma is presented.
