Special Issue on Aging, Population Change and Society
Aging,
Population Change and Society examines the demographic, economic, social,
and institutional implications of changing population structures and increasing
longevity. Topics include demographic transition, population aging, fertility
and mortality trends, life expectancy, migration, intergenerational relationships,
family structures, retirement, employment, pensions, healthcare, long-term
care, social participation, housing, age-friendly communities, and the
well-being of older adults. Attention is also given to the ways demographic
shifts influence labor markets, public services, social policy, community

societies to changing age structures and promoting inclusive and sustainable
