Special Issue on Big Data and Social Science
Big Data
and Social Science explores the use of large-scale, complex, and
diverse datasets to better understand human behavior, social interactions,
institutions, and societal change. By integrating computational methods,
statistical analysis, machine learning, and social science theories, the field
enables researchers to analyze patterns from digital platforms, administrative
records, surveys, geospatial data, and other data sources. It addresses topics
such as social networks, public opinion, digital behavior, policy evaluation,
inequality, urban development, and ethical issues related to data privacy and
governance, providing evidence-based insights to inform research,
decision-making, and public policy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
