Special Issue on Social Community and
Development
Social Community and Development examines the
processes, policies, and practices that promote social well-being, community
empowerment, and sustainable societal progress. This special issue explores
research on community participation, social inclusion, local governance, and
development strategies aimed at improving quality of life and reducing social
inequalities. It welcomes interdisciplinary studies addressing topics such as
community-based development, social capital, public policy, grassroots
initiatives, and the role of institutions and organizations in fostering
resilient and inclusive communities. By integrating perspectives from
sociology, development studies, public administration, and social policy, the
issue aims to highlight innovative approaches that support equitable and
sustainable community development.
