Special Issue on Challenges and Transformations
in Society
COVID-19: Challenges and Transformations in
Society explores the widespread impacts of the pandemic on global health,
economies, and social structures. The crisis has highlighted existing
inequalities, disrupted daily life, and forced rapid changes in work,
education, and healthcare delivery. Social distancing, remote work, and digital
learning have become the norm, while governments face unprecedented challenges
in managing public health and economic recovery. At the same time, the pandemic
has accelerated technological adoption, prompted shifts in cultural behaviors,
and ignited discussions on global health governance, public policy, and the
resilience of societies in the face of crises.
In this
