Special Issue on Language and Education
"Language and
Education" explores the role of language in teaching, learning, and
academic achievement. It examines how language development, literacy, and
multilingualism impact educational outcomes, as well as the challenges faced by
linguistically diverse learners. This interdisciplinary field addresses
language policies, curriculum design, and teaching strategies to promote
equitable access to education. It also investigates the relationship between
language, culture, and identity in educational contexts, emphasizing the
importance of language in fostering communication, critical thinking, and
knowledge acquisition.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
