ABSTRACT: From a sociological point of view, the Paris Olympics is not only a stage for sports competition, but also carries profound social conflicts and cultural integration. Whether it is the conflict between religious culture and multiculturalism in the context of globalization, social class differences, or the identity of gender-diverse athletes, the influence of political conflicts on athletes, and the influence of “fan culture” all reflect the complexity of today’s world society. By understanding these conflicts and integrations, we can better understand the sociological significance of the Olympic Games and explore how to achieve multi-cultural harmony between humanity and nature in the era of globalization.
