  ABSTRACT: This paper presents an adaptive backstepping control strategy to achieve finite-time Chaos synchronization for the uncertain Lorenz system. Using Lyapunov stability theory, a controller is designed to ensure that the synchronization error converges to zero in a finite time, even in the presence of unknown system parameter constants and external disturbances. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through numerical simulations.
