ABSTRACT: This research paper is going to investigate the role of green transformational leadership in green creativity within the Ghanaian manufacturing industry. The study used a quantitative method of acquiring research evidence. The main source of the data was a survey of 200 employees belonging to different manufacturing companies in Accra, Ghana. The source of secondary data included a review of the relevant literature and documents through documentary sources. The research displayed that green transformational leadership influences green innovation in a large, favorable way. This analysis also revealed that employees feel that their bosses contribute to realizing their new ideas and developing them. This makes them more committed and eager to the environmental initiatives in the organization. This paper revealed that the green activities of the organizations have saved them quite a lot of money, have enhanced their environmental performance, and also strengthened their brand and reputation. This study shows that manufacturing companies should keep spending money on training their executives in green transformational leadership and giving their workers chances to work on creative and green innovation projects. The study also says that the industry should keep track of and judge how well its green efforts are going, and let its stakeholders know how they are doing. In conclusion, this study enhances the existing body of knowledge on green transformational leadership and green creativity. It also shows how these ideas could work in a country like Ghana that is still growing. This research also has practical implications for other organisational managers and leaders looking to improve their green performance and competitiveness.
