ABSTRACT: This article considers the direct solution of the dynamic problem of building-foundation interaction. A mathematical model of the interaction between a building and a deformable foundation is presented. A numerical method of successive approximations of velocities and accelerations, varying over time, is proposed. A numerical algorithm and a computer program have been developed, and studies of free and forced oscillations of the dynamic model of the building have been carried out. Numerical experiments were conducted, and results were obtained using a frame building as an example. The results are given for a simplified model considering linear and angular displacements of the foundation slab.
