ABSTRACT: This review provides a comprehensive synthesis of current research on the sense of meaning in life among individuals living with HIV/AIDS. It systematically examines five key dimensions: conceptual frameworks, measurement tools, influencing factors, psychological impacts, and intervention strategies. By integrating findings from international and domestic literature, the review highlights the central role of life meaning in shaping mental health outcomes, treatment adherence, and quality of life. It also identifies methodological and contextual limitations in existing research, particularly within the Chinese context, and proposes culturally tailored directions for future study and clinical practice. This work aims to inform evidence-based strategies for enhancing psychological well-being and resilience among people living with HIV/AIDS.
