ABSTRACT: The present study deduced the epidemiological evidence of pesticides and health-related cases in Nanumba-North Municipality. The paper retrospectively analyses 257 pesticide-poisoning records from clinics and Bimbilla Hospital to characterise incidence, demographics and outcomes between 2014 and 2024 in Nanumba-North Municipality, Ghana. Herbicides caused 41% of cases, men accounted for 76%, and the overall mortality was 15%. Suicide attempts represented the dominant circumstance (83 cases), highlighting pesticides as an important driver of self-harm in the study area.
