ABSTRACT: The aim of this article is to study: 1) the dosimetric properties of various ionization chamber such as semi-flex and farmer chamber in comparison with diamond, pinpoint and diode detector with the moluminescence dosimetry for total scatter analysis and dose profile, and 2) flattening filter free (FFF) beams (output measurements, profile analysis, surface dose and consistency) generated by medical linear accelerator and its variation with respect to flattened beams (FB). With the appearance of new techniques such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radios surgery (SRS), applying relativity small fields that are either dynamic or static is needed. For this purpose, there have been many developments in treatment machines.
