ABSTRACT: In nursing education, students are introduced to the research process and are required to produce a thesis. This paper investigates factors influencing students’ engagement in this process. The findings identify motivation, institutional support and professional aspirations as facilitators while highlighting barriers like workload, time constraints and difficulties in guidance.
