ABSTRACT: In the context of economic globalization and educational internationalization, international cooperation and exchange have become an essential function of medical universities. Party building in medical universities plays a significant role in providing political guidance and ideological assurance during the process of international collaboration. It is of practical importance to explore the collaborative model of a long-term mechanism driven by Party building to enhance international cooperation and exchange in medical universities. This paper reviews the research status quo of international cooperation and exchange in medical universities globally and domestically, analyzes the connotations and characteristics of Party building in medical universities, and elaborates on the intrinsic mechanisms between collaborative theory and Party building-driven international cooperation. Furthermore, based on existing challenges in international collaboration within medical universities, this study proposes a collaborative model driven by Party building and identifies key elements of this mechanism.
