ABSTRACT: In view of students’ weak professional knowledge reserve and insufficient opportunities for teaching practicum, as well as out-of-date instructional mode and limited morals and values education resources, this study takes the English-major graduate course “Foreign Language Teaching: Theories and Practices” as an example to explore the implementation paths of integrating the morals and values education into the whole process of teaching. The course design is optimized with a problem-oriented in-class “dual-path teaching” and outside-of-class “dual-task practices” teaching approach. The moral and value elements, such as ideals and beliefs, patriotism, social responsibility and Educator’s Spirit, are also embedded organically to fulfill the course objective.
