ABSTRACT: Diabetic Eye Disease (DED) is a growing public health concern worldwide, with rising global diabetes prevalence, effective public health strategies are essential to combat DED. This paper discusses key strategies for the prevention and management of complications at a population level, including early detection through regular screenings, improving access to care, raising awareness, implementing robust policy frameworks, leveraging technological advancements, and involving communities. These approaches collectively aim to enhance early intervention, equitable care, and better management, thereby reducing the prevalence and impact of DED worldwide.
