ABSTRACT: Carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) is a tumour-associated biomarker predominantly linked to pancreatic and colorectal cancers. Elevated serum levels of CA 19-9 in lung adenocarcinoma are rare, with few cases documented in the literature. Herein, we present two cases of metastatic lung adenocarcinoma with markedly elevated CA 19-9 levels, initially leading to a diagnostic suspicion of a pancreatic malignancy.
