ABSTRACT: A comparison of flood values based on prior data and new additional data at various confidence levels is given for five representative sites in Los Angeles, California. The methodology uses computer simulations to give the confidence level values and flood frequency curves. These calculations show confidence level increases roughly in the range of 5% to 10% using some quarter of a century of additional data.
