  ABSTRACT: The direct aroylation of ArCOPdCl with potassium aryltrifluoroborates establishes a new cross-coupling synthetic tool for the synthesis of various fluorine substituted benzophenones. The new microwave irradiated process is very efficient and produce high yield benzophenone products within minutes.
