ABSTRACT: The thesis deals with the four types of languages from the perspective of wh-questions which prove to exhibit a universal principle of Move F and investigates on the biologically basis of language studies. The feature checking of the wh-questions in these four types of languages can be thus given a principled explanation and Move F as a universal principle is biologically related.
