ABSTRACT: Zinc sulfide photocatalysts doped with chromium (1:1)% were synthesized via precipitation technique. Their characteristics were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), AFM and Florescence spectrometer. The photocatalytic reaction was applied under light intensity equal to 1.45 × 10-7 Einstein mol-1 to investigate the kinetics and thermodynamic parameters for photo-decolorization of reactive black 5 dye in collide solution of bare and Cr-doped ZnS. The mean crystal size and particle size for bare ZnS are more than those values for prepared Cr loaded ZnS.
