ABSTRACT: Securities analysts’ prediction has been a conception which is paid attention to in recent years’ concern to the industry and academics, including the relationship between securities analysts’ prediction and their characteristics. This paper is aimed to research how securities analysts’ prediction influences the market. It is found that the impact capacity is generally weak in the market of China, and the consistency index of all the forecast accuracy indexes is especially important in determining the accuracy and the ability to predict the market.
