Abstract: Modeling the process of opinion formation and evolution is one of leading methods to understand the rules of Internet opinion diffusion. In this paper we survey some important research results from two respects, individual interaction and the influence of network structure. We focus on the modeling principles, characteristics and conclusions of several famous models. Finally, by employing the particularity of Internet, several future research issues are discussed.
