Abstract: |
The information system of the weather condition of transmission lines can monitor and forecast the typhoon, lightening, rain, heavy fog and other weather changes indicating strong convection weather, to determine the influence of such change on the lines, which are within the bad weather affecting area, and to give warning on those lines showing risks of fault. Besides, it also indicates and makes timely graphs of strong convection weather. This paper covered all the aspect of the system, including the conceivement, the acquisition of the weather parameters, the risk assessment of the line fault, the development and the operation performance of the system.
