Abstract: Cryptology is an important professional basic course of information security and its related areas. It represents the application of mathematics in the field of information science. It takes a very important place in information security. The main research content of this paper is the teaching of cryptography. The goal of teaching proposed is to improve the abilities of practice, innovation and implementation of students. By combining the characteristics of cryptology course and teaching practice, some view of teaching reform is proposed, which focus on teaching content as well as teaching methods and practice matched.
