With the pursuing of the better life, human beings demands more and more electricity, and electric machines become more and more complex, such as air-conditioning, fan, arc welder, electricmotor, which result in the decrease of power and increase of the line loss. The use of the power compensation device in the transformer substations will be the solution of the high inductive current. This paper introduces the inspection methods and preventive measures after the tripping of power compensation device on the basis of the analysis of the tripping of differential pressure protection action in power compensation device in several transformer substations, which enable staff to troubleshoot failures of the power compensation equipment more quickly and accurately.
