Abstract: This paper carried out a detailed experimental analysis to related switches and protective devices of typical leapfrog tripping accident of power grid, found out the reason that failures to operate of compound voltage lockout over-current protection of transformer medium-low-voltage side, that the protection could not accurately provide logical conditions of compound voltage when breakdown occurred, and put forward concrete solutions that delayed widening 5~10s should be increased in logical conditions of start-up circuit of compound voltage at medium-low-voltage side in order to guarantee high backup protection can operate reliably. This paper has a certain reference value for preventing accidents recurrence and increasing reliability of protective devices.
