Abstract: Developed by Microsoft Corporation, Windows Mobile is an operating system that aims at the development of mobile equipment, and it is an open operating system. An application program of GPS (Global Position System) was developed in the paper based on Windows Mobile 6.0 in programming environment namely Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 by C# programming language. PDA intelligent equipment was used for hardware, and Chinese edition of Windows Mobile 6.0 was used as operating system. First of all，the basis concepts of GPS were introduced. After introducing the interrelated knowledge of GPS Intermediate Driver (GPSID), particular steps of programming development, parts of implementation codes, and the operating results of program in the environment of Fake GPS which was GPS simulator made by Microsoft and intelligent device were given. Finally, a summary of the issue was given, and the content of the next step that will be needed to study was pointed out.
