Abstract: The article analyzes the adaptability of electronic whiteboard when it is used as educational equipment. The whiteboard increases some additional features, after it comes into the education field, but it is not fundamentally designed the adaptability of education. There is a big gap between electronic whiteboard and teaching needs from the classroom needs of the display device size and light. Electronic whiteboard solves the dust pollution for teachers, but gives light pollution；It brings potential visual health hazards to teachers and students. New educational technology equipments must be re-designed when they are used as universal media.
