Abstract: Through a Boolean operation and the retrieval analysis of the library unified information system, a newly retrieval methodology for the unified library information is presented, which is called Boolean operation optimization for the unified library information retrieve. This new methodology adopts the integration of the internet technology and computerized communication technology, in which the user can retrieve the library information with the cell-phone, PDA, palm computer and any internet-connected devices easily and quickly. Under the concept of the minimum gene of Boolean operation and the logical Boolean proximately optimization and the SQL combination conditions, together with the Boolean operation integration, the authors announce an optimized methodology for the unified library information retrieval and system development strategy. These methodology aims to provide an accurate and fast information retrieval for the library customers at anytime anywhere. Some empirical analysis and evaluation are conducted to proof the effectiveness of the proposed method. As can be seen from the results of evaluation in different approaches, the Boolean operation optimization for the unified library information retrieve can improve the performance of the library in information retrieve.
