Compromise of a secret key lets an attacker produce signatures on behalf of the corresponding signer and forces the latter to revoke its public key and generate a new pair of keys, therefore, before accepting a signature as valid, one also has to verify that the public key has not been revoked. With the application of more and more cryptographic primitives in insecure environments, how to address the key-exposure problem has become an important issue in security services. Recently, a series of key-evolving protocols are proposed, key-insulated was proposed by Dodis et al. is one of these protocols. In this paper, the concept of Key-Insulated security is firstly introduced; then a new identity based(ID-based) key-insulated signature scheme is proposed; finally, the proposed scheme is evaluated and analyzed, and is proved to be a strong and perfect key-insulated scheme, and also has little computations and high efficiency, so it has the very high security and usability.
