A Study on the Reform of China’s General Aviation

ABSTRACT

With the rapid development of China’s general aviation in recent years, the demand for general aviation aircraft is increasing, therefore, the standard for the security management of general aviation, technical standards and market access for general aviation companies, and flight crew is much higher than that of before. However, the current law and regulations of general aviation are based on the standard of public transport, taking the fact into account that the general aviation and public transport aviation are very different; the Chinese government has proposed a reform of general aviation management principles, contents and objectives, and aims to formulate legal system of general aviation by 2020.
