ABSTRACT

This article takes the representative figure of the Japanese monk, Zekkai Tyusin, as an example, sorting out the geographical terms of the Ming Dynasty in the collection of his Chinese poems Syokenko. These terms can be classified into two categories: physical geography and human geography, mainly mountains, lakes, and architectural place names, getting an overall overview of the Ming Dynasty deeds of Zekkai Tyusin. Based on the sorting and classification, the spatial distribution characteristics of different categories are summarized, and the emotional interaction between different places and the sea is interpreted in the context of specific poems.
