Unleashing the Power of Innovation in CDMOs through Customer-Centricity and Culture of Service ()
ABSTRACT
Innovation is essential for the success of any pharmaceutical
organization, and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs)
are “innovation drivers” for major pharmaceutical companies. CDMOs “Execute the Innovation Plan” by collaborating closely with
pharmaceutical companies to understand their unique needs and offer tailored
solutions through prioritizing customer service. CDMOs can drive industry
growth and innovation by enabling pharmaceutical companies to bring new drugs
to market faster and more efficiently
through access to advanced technology partnerships, flexible and
scalable manufacturing solutions, and collaborative customer service. A culture
of service is crucial in the contract development and manufacturing
organization (CDMO) industry as it directly impacts innovation. The ability to
innovate and provide solutions that meet customers’ unique needs differentiates
successful CDMOs from the rest. This article explores the role of a culture of
service in driving innovation in the CDMO industry.
