Energy Performance Contracting from the Perspective of Public Sector—A Bibliometric Analysis ()
ABSTRACT
In advocating energy-saving and low-carbon today,
energy performance contracting has become an important policy tool for energy
management in the public sector. Based on the perspective of public sector,
this article uses hotspot comparison to find trends and policy issues in energy
performance contracting. Through the cluster analysis of the literature co-citation
network and the frequency analysis of keywords, it is found that the Chinese
energy performance contracting research needs to be improved in four aspects:
Industry and sector, Financing, Evaluation criteria and Supporting measures. Based
on these, we put forward policy implications for improving Chinese energy
performance contracting in the future.
