Hotspots and Trends of Adolescent Cyberbullying: A Review Using the Bibliometric Approach on Citespace ()
ABSTRACT
Cyberbullying
has become a major adolescent issue worldwide. This paper used CiteSpace to analyze the articles on adolescent cyberbullying in
the WoS core database from 1986 to 2019. The results provide an overview of the
field of adolescent cyberbullying, including the changes in publications on an
annual basis; the most influential countries, institutions, authors, and
journals; as well as analysis of keyword co-occurrence, and highly cited
references in the field. Knowledge maps were obtained in order to understand
the hotspots and to infer the research trends in the field. This paper hopes to
serve as a reference for future research on cyberbullying.
