In recent years, the Party Central Committee has paid more attention to the ideological education of students, and university teachers are constantly exploring how to implement ideological and political education in the classroom teaching process. The author designs and practices the course of Ideological and political education for specialized courses—operations research as an example. This paper introduces how to combine the operations research with the ideological and political education of university students, so as to play the role of major course teachers in Ideological and Political Education.
