Special Issue on Porous Materials
Porous
materials are materials with pores (cavities, channels or interstices). The
characteristics of a porous material vary depending on the size, arrangement
and shape of the pores, as well as the porosity (the ratio of the total pore
volume relative to the apparent volume of the material) and composition of the
material itself. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and
discuss various new issues and developments in the area of porous materials.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring porous materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Nanoporous materials
-
Macroporous materials
-
Mesoporous materials
-
Microporous materials
-
Synthesis of porous materials
-
Characterization and processing of porous materials
-
Porous medium
-
Metallic foams and porous metals
-
Pore structure models
-
Synthesis, porous structure analysis, and application of
sorbents in CO2 capture
-
Applications of porous materials
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Porous
Materials” should be selected during your submission.
