Special Issue on Biofuel Research
A biofuel is a type of fuel whose energy is derived from biological carbon fixation, examples of this carbon fixation occurs in plants and microalgae. These fuels are made by a biomass conversion, and this biomass conversion can result in fuel in solid, liquid, or gas form. This new biomass can be used for biofuels. The common useful biofuels are bioethanol, biodiesel and biogas. For now, the biofuels become more and more popular because of rising oil prices and the need for energy security.
The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Biofuel Research.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Biofuel Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
The composition of fuel
-
Liquid fuels for transportation
-
Biofuels by region
-
Issues with biofuel production and use
-
Current researches about biofuel
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal's Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Biofuel Research” should be chosen during your submission.
