Special Issue on Silicon materials
Silicon-based
materials, which consist of silicon backbones and surface-capped atoms or
pendants, have been studied in the fields of both physics and chemistry.
Silicon materials in various forms have found wide application in biomedicine,
food technology, adsorption, chromatography, catalysis, sensor technology, gas
storage, electronic devices, solar cells, light-emitting diodes and etc.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Silicon materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Organic silicon materials
-
Inorganic silicon materials
-
Silicon-based alloys
-
Silicon-based thin films
-
Silicon nanoparticles
-
Structures and properties
-
Reactions and mechanisms
-
Preparations, characterizations, and
applications
-
Synthesis of silicon materials
-
Functionalization of silica materials
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Silicon
materials” should be selected during your submission.
