It encompasses both conventional and renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydro, bioenergy, and emerging systems such as hydrogen and fuel cells. The field addresses efficiency, sustainability, and environmental impact, integrating advanced materials, smart grids, and energy storage solutions to meet growing global energy demands. Applications span industrial, residential, and transportation sectors, emphasizing innovation, decarbonization, and the transition toward sustainable energy systems.
