Construction Management and Sustainable Built Environments involves the coordination, planning, and execution of construction projects with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, and long-term sustainability. It integrates project management principles with green building practices, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, optimizing material and energy use, and enhancing the environmental performance of buildings and infrastructure. The field addresses the full life cycle of the built environment—from design and construction to operation and deconstruction—while incorporating innovative technologies, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder collaboration to achieve resilient, cost-effective, and socially responsible development.
