Waste Recycling and Circular Economy Practices focuses on strategies and technologies that minimize waste generation while maximizing resource recovery and reuse across production and consumption systems. This field examines material recycling processes, waste-to-resource pathways, product life-cycle design, and circular business models aimed at reducing environmental impacts and promoting sustainable resource use. By integrating environmental engineering, industrial ecology, policy frameworks, and economic analysis, it supports the transition from linear waste management toward resilient, low-carbon, and resource-efficient circular economies.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Waste Recycling and Circular Economy Practices. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
