Special Issue on
Space Exploration and Satellite Technology
Space Exploration and Satellite Technology focuses on the
scientific, technological, and societal dimensions of humanity’s efforts to
explore outer space and harness satellite systems for research and practical applications.
This theme encompasses spacecraft and mission design, propulsion systems,
planetary exploration, human spaceflight, and emerging concepts such as space
mining and tourism, alongside advances in satellite engineering, Earth
observation, global communications, navigation, and remote sensing. It also
addresses critical issues such as space debris management, international
cooperation, commercialization of space, and the ethical implications of
expanding human activity beyond Earth. By bridging engineering, science, and
policy perspectives, this area provides a platform for advancing knowledge and
innovation in the rapidly evolving domain of space technologies.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Space
Exploration and Satellite Technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Commercial space activities
-
Communication satellites
-
Earth observation satellites
