Special Issue on Chinese Society, Culture and Policy

Chinese Society, Culture and Policy” focuses on the dynamic interplay between social transformation, cultural traditions, and policy development in contemporary China. It explores how historical legacies and cultural values shape social structures, governance, education, and community life, while also examining the impact of modernization, globalization, and technological change on Chinese society. Key areas include social stratification, family and community relations, cultural identity, media and communication, public health, urbanization, and environmental policy. By integrating perspectives from sociology, political science, cultural studies, and public policy, this issue aims to provide a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing China today, highlighting both continuity and change in its social and cultural evolution.
